Information the add-on uses

Character Collection uses the active Google Slides presentation so it can insert images, shapes, text, and new slides requested by the user.

When a user creates a personal character, the selected image files are stored in a folder named Character Collection Images in that user's Google Drive. Character names, categories, descriptions, traits, image references, favourites, recent characters, and interface preferences are stored using Google Apps Script User Properties for that Google account.

What Space 64 does not receive

Character Collection has no separate account system, advertising system, analytics service, tracking SDK, or Space 64 database. Personal character images are not uploaded to a Space 64 server. They remain in the user's Google Drive and are processed through Google services under the user's Google account.

Built-in character artwork is delivered from a public Space 64 static asset host.

Deleting information

Users can remove individual characters and images from inside the add-on. Removed image files are moved to Google Drive trash. The add-on also provides a control to delete all Character Collection characters, image files, favourites, recent history, and saved preferences for the current Google account.

Users can also revoke the add-on's access from their Google Account security settings and uninstall it through Google Workspace Marketplace.

Support communications

If someone emails Space 64 for support, Space 64 receives the information voluntarily included in that email, such as an email address, issue description, and attachments. It is used to respond and troubleshoot and is retained only as reasonably necessary for those purposes and legal obligations.
