Getting started

  1. Install Character Collection from Google Workspace Marketplace.
  2. Open or create a Google Slides presentation.
  3. Choose Extensions → Character Collection → Open Character Collection.
  4. Approve the requested Google permissions.
  5. Choose a character and pose, then select Add to Slide or Create Profile.

Common fixes

  • Reload the presentation after installing or updating the add-on.
  • If the menu is missing, close and reopen the presentation.
  • If authorization fails, ask your Workspace administrator whether unpublished or Marketplace add-ons are restricted.
  • If an image is missing, edit the character and upload it again.
  • If a built-in image does not load, check network filtering for public HTTPS image hosts.
